Position Summary:

As a Server, you'll be the friendly face our guests see first. You'll ensure exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive service and anticipating our guests' needs. From taking orders to delivering delicious meals with a smile, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. All Server positions' pay ranges include tips.

 


Responsibilities:  

  • Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere. 
  • Take orders from guests and answer any questions they may have. 
  • Serve drinks and food promptly and courteously. 
  • Accommodate guests' needs and special requests in a timely manner. 
  • Make suggestions regarding food and drink options. 
  • Clean guest tables and maintain a tidy dining area. 
  • Use a point-of-sale computerized register system to relay orders to the kitchen. 
  • Present the guest check and handle cash or credit card payments with efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:  

  • Proficient in reading and writing. 
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts. 
  • Capable of lifting or moving up to 25 pounds. 
  • Full mobility of hands and arms to perform repetitive tasks like transporting plates, glasses, and baskets between the kitchen and dining room.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds. 
  • Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the shift. 
  • Bending and Reaching: Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting. 
  • Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination. 
  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication to interact with people. 
  • Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work in varying temperatures.
